The sixth generation of Fujifilm's cult-favorite compact jumps to a 40.2MP X-Trans sensor and adds the series' first in-body image stabilization — up to 6 stops — without growing the body beyond its predecessor's dimensions. The fixed 23mm f/2 lens, unchanged from the X100V, still delivers a 35mm-equivalent field of view built for street and documentary work.

A hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder switches instantly between modes, and a 425-point autofocus system built on deep-learning AI now recognizes animals, vehicles, and more alongside faces. Video jumped to 6.2K/30p with 10-bit color, a serious capability for a camera most people buy for its Film Simulation modes and retro dials.
