Kaweco Classic Sport
Kaweco Classic Sport
First designed in 1911 and based on the 1935 iteration, the Sport series built its reputation on a genuinely clever trick: a pen just 10.5cm long capped, extending to a full 13.3cm when the cap is posted on the back. Legend holds that Sepp Herberger, coach of West Germany's 1954 World Cup-winning football team, used one to sketch tactics on paper.
A 23kt gold-plated stainless steel nib, available in five widths from extra fine to broad, fills via standard international cartridges or a compatible squeeze converter, and the octagonal cap prevents the pen from rolling off a desk even without a clip.
