Leica's first instant camera is, underneath the badge, a reskinned Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 — built by Fuji, shelled by Leica, with the brand's own Automatik-Hektor 60mm f/12.7 lens doing the actual work at a 34mm full-frame equivalent. It shoots standard Instax Mini film, including Leica's own color and monochrome stock with a warm white border.

A three-zone manual focus selector gives more control over the final image than most instant cameras offer, while a selfie mirror and built-in flash round out a compact body meant to be picked up without much thought. A rechargeable battery lasts roughly ten packs of film — about 100 shots — before it needs a charge.
