Swatch Moonswatch
Swatch Moonswatch
The MoonSwatch translates Omega's Speedmaster Moonwatch — the first watch worn on the moon — into Bioceramic, a Swatch-patented material that's two-thirds ceramic and one-third castor-oil-derived bio-plastic. The 42mm case matches the Speedmaster's proportions almost exactly, down to the asymmetrical case and tachymeter bezel, but at a fraction of the weight and price.
A quartz chronograph movement replaces the Speedmaster's manual caliber, and a Velcro strap swaps steel for something built to survive being worn every day without ceremony. Each colorway carries its own "mission" theme, tied loosely to a planet or, in later editions, a lunar phase.
