Teenage Engineering
Built entirely around synthesized 8-bit arcade, drum, and chiptune sounds, the PO-20 turns nostalgic game-console tones into a genuine sequencing instrument — 16 sounds, 16 punch-in effects like glitches and solo chords, and pattern chaining up to 128 patterns for building full compositions rather than short loops. A built-in clock and alarm add small extra utility to the credit-card-sized unit.
Parameter locking lets individual steps carry their own automation, and jam-sync over 3.5mm audio links multiple Pocket Operators or compatible gear into a synchronized setup.
