Each pen is hand-crafted in Faverges, France, from solid brass, finished with up to nine hand-painted layers of natural lacquer using techniques adapted from Japanese and Chinese lacquerware traditions.

A 14kt gold nib, available in extra fine through broad, fills via standard international cartridge or converter, and the curved, fluted grip section is shaped for genuine writing comfort rather than just visual flourish.
