Introduced by Andrew Dougherty in 1885 — the same year Bicycle launched — Tally-Ho occupies a distinct niche among American playing cards: not the everyday default, but the deck magicians, cardists, and collectors reach for specifically. A Linoid finish, a proprietary coating slightly less slippery than Bicycle's air-cushion, gives cards a different glide and resistance that flourishers tend to prefer.

The Fan Back design, one of two classic Tally-Ho patterns alongside Circle Back, wraps a geometric fan motif around the card backs. Each deck ships with 52 standard cards, two jokers (one color, one black-and-white), a poker guide card, and the Bicycle ad card, printed by the U.S. Playing Card Company.
