Time Smiles tells the hour and minute with two small dots standing in for eyes, set against a fixed mouth that gives the clock a different expression every sixty minutes. It's a novelty built on a completely standard quartz clock movement — the character comes from two lightweight disks press-fit onto ordinary hour and minute hands, not from anything electronic.

A CNC-machined bamboo front cover gives it a warmer, more tactile finish than the plastic desk clocks it's implicitly needling, and the ultra-silent movement means it disappears into a room the way a good clock should.
