TP-7 is built to solve one problem with zero friction: capturing an idea, riff, or interview the instant it happens, in the highest quality the moment allows. A single button turns it on and starts recording, and the whole device is shaped around one-handed muscle memory — index finger for fast forward, middle for rewind, thumb for memo, pinky for mode.

At its center is a motorized "tape reel," a brushed motor on ball bearings that spins during recording and playback and doubles as the scrub and menu control. Three 3.5mm two-way jacks configure as inputs or outputs for connecting other Field gear, and 128GB of internal storage is enough for roughly 20 years of five-minutes-a-day recording.
